A broadscale benthic survey of Loch Creran was carried out in 1998-1999. The primary objective of the study was to map the sublittoral habitats and delimit biotopes. AGDS was used, ground-truthed by grab sampling, ROV, diver video and stills photography. GIS maps were created by an MSc student.
